Application
Rock Wool Slab is used for a wide range of thermal and acoustic insulation applications in buildings, building services and industry.
Some occasional loading or long term compression performance and impact resistance is required.

Durability
Rock Wool Slab is odourless, non-hygroscopic, rot proof, do not sustain vermin and will not encourage the growth of fungi, mould or bacteria.

Operating Temperatures
Rock Wool can be used up to continuous operating temperatures of 650°C. This depends on density.

Handling and storage
Rock Wool is easy to handle and install, being light weight and easily cut to size.

The thermal shrinkage film packing is just for short time storage only, for long term stock, the Rock Wool should be stored either indoors or undercover and off ground.
